Mr. Williams is the author of three published novels, The Nomination, Beyond Redemption and Just Loving You and his fourth novel, Fires of Greenwood: The Tulsa Riot of 1921. He is also the ghostwriter for two autobiographies: Through My Mother’s Tears and Joined by God. He has also edited and assisted in the writings of a number of non-fiction works to include: Black Horses, White Cotton, and Religion, by an ex-National Football League Player, Anthony Prior; Situations 101-Finances, by BernNadette Stanis, better known as Thelma from the 1970’s sitcom Good Times. He was the 2011 recipient of the “Arts and Letters Award” presented by the Friends of the San Antonio Public Library. San Antonio Magazine also chose him as one of the four “Men of the Year for 2011.” For a year and a half, he wrote an opinion column for the San Antonio Express News.
